The Taiwan Peak-to-Peak Trail is an ongoing effort to research, scout, document, and develop a trail tracing ridgelines and leading over the highest peaks in Taiwan from Taipei in the north to the southern tip of the island. It is a long-distance, north–south route of over seven hundred kilometers à la the Pacific Crest Trail, Continental Divide Trail, and Appalachian Trail in North America or the E-Paths in Europe. Efforts are led by the Taiwan Peak-to-Peak Trail Project, an informal organization with the sole purpose of creating, promoting, and maintaining the trail.
